Kath Scott

Kath has been boating for most of her adult life in a range of vessels from small powerboats to cruising yachts and larger motor boats.

She is a keen yachtswoman and has covered many miles in the UK and southern hemisphere. She has competed in 2 RORC Fastnet Race Campaigns.

Kath is our Chief Instructor for Power, Motor and First Aid and is our Child Protection and Media Officer.

  1. Hi, Just wanted to know if Kath Scot does all the courses. I am interested in Advanced Power boat leading to Power boat instructor. I am very keen on being tutored by Kath, as I find her courses on Youtube helpful and a science behind some of the learning. Please advise

    • Jude, Kath runs some of our courses we also have other instructors. It depends on when the course is running. You don’t need to attend the Advanced Powerboat Course as a pre-requisite for the PBI course. For the PBI course the focus is at PB2 level but it is always helpful if you have done the Day Skipper theory course and perhaps the intermediate Powerboat course.
