Calling for help in an emergency – what’s the best way??

This is a fantastic leaflet published by the RNLI explaining the different ways that you can call for help in an emergency and the advantages and disadvantage of each. We always recommend that you set to sea with the most appropriate device for your vessel – a VHF Handheld radio takes up little space and can be used to raise the alarm to both coast stations and other vessels in your vicinity

It’s a legal requirement for someone on board yur vessel to have a personal VHF-DSC licence – we offer both the classroom course and online to find out more click HERE for more details.

Do you know who to call in an emergency? Do you have the right equipment? Whether you’re at the coast, on the water, or further out to sea, we have everything you need to know so you can call for help in an emergency.
